Vehicle Inspection

Valet vehicle inspection software that turns every handover into evidence

Damage disputes are won or lost on what you documented at the curb. ValeKit captures condition at intake today: photos with severity-graded damage markers, tied to the ticket and kept with it. Fuel, odometer, and signature capture, the standardized return inspection, and the shareable report that pairs intake with return are rolling out. When a guest claims a scratch that was already there, you do not argue. You show the record.

Standardized inspection reporting is rolling out. Photo condition capture is already part of check-in. Talk to us about full inspection reports and archive.

What is valet vehicle inspection software?

Valet vehicle inspection software documents a car's condition at handover, guided photos, damage markers, fuel and odometer, and a signature, at intake and again at return, then stores a comparable, shareable record used to resolve damage disputes.

A standardized inspection every runner follows

Consistency is what makes a record hold up. ValeKit walks every attendant through the same capture at intake: the same damage areas and the same minor, moderate, and severe grading on each marker, so the record looks the same at every property and on every shift. The fuller guided checklist, with fuel, odometer, and a customer signature, arrives with the inspection module.

Intake and return, side by side

Condition is captured when the car arrives today. The return-side inspection and the automatic comparison between the two are rolling out. Once they land, new damage will be flagged against the intake baseline, every frame time-stamped and tied to its ticket, runner, and location, so it is clear what changed on your watch and what did not.

Reports that hold up with insurers and guests

The report layer is rolling out: photos, markers, fuel and odometer, time stamps, and signature in one shareable document, backed by the immutable activity log ValeKit already writes for every ticket. Guests will view it from the same tracking link they already use, so your insurer gets a clean evidence chain instead of a blurry phone photo.

A searchable inspection archive

Every photo and damage marker is stored against its ticket and vehicle today, and the web admin shows them on the ticket record. Search across inspections by plate, ticket, date, runner, or location is rolling out with the module, so a claim that surfaces three months later takes seconds to answer.

Dispute resolution without the he-said-she-said

When a claim comes in, pull the records for that ticket and answer with what was actually captured rather than what someone remembers. With the return inspection and comparison in place, that becomes a single side-by-side view, protecting your premiums, your reputation, and the runner who did nothing wrong. For multi-property groups, the same record is part of the audit trail procurement teams ask about.

FAQ

How is this different from the condition photos at check-in?
Check-in captures condition at intake, and that ships today. Vehicle Inspection adds the standardized intake-and-return pair, the before-and-after comparison, a shareable report, and a searchable archive for disputes. Those layers are rolling out.
Does it work offline in underground garages?
Yes. Photos and damage markers are captured on the device and queued locally, then upload when connectivity returns. That is how check-in already works today, and inspections use the same offline-first pipeline.
What's in the report and can I share it?
Condition photos, damage markers graded minor, moderate, or severe, fuel and odometer, time stamps, and the customer signature, backed by the immutable activity log ValeKit writes for every ticket. The shareable version, viewable by the guest from their tracking link and exportable as a PDF, is part of the reporting layer now rolling out.
Can it prove damage happened during the visit?
The intake capture sets the baseline today, so pre-existing damage is on record from the moment the car arrives. Automatically checking a return inspection against that baseline, which is what flags and dates new damage, is rolling out.
How long are records kept?
For the life of your account. Inspection photos and damage records stay attached to their ticket and vehicle, and ValeKit does not delete them on a schedule. Removing them is the account owner's decision. If you have a retention period you need to meet, tell us and we will confirm in writing what we can commit to.
Is standardized inspection reporting available now?
Photo condition capture with severity-graded damage markers is live on check-in today. Fuel, odometer, and signature capture, the standardized return inspection, the comparison, the shareable report, and the searchable archive are rolling out.

Never lose a damage dispute again.
