2. How We Ask for Consent

The underlying tags load in a “consent denied” state by default and only begin storing cookies once you actively opt in. Strictly Necessary

Always active, since the site cannot function properly without them. These do not require consent.

  • cookie_consent: first-party, stores your accept/decline choice for 365 days so we don't ask again on every visit.

Analytics

Set only after you accept. Help us understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how people navigate, and where they run into friction, so we can improve it.

  • Google Analytics (GA4): sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, typically retained for up to 2 years. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog: sets a ph_* cookie, typically retained for up to 1 year, used for session recording, automatic capture of clicks and page views, and the same named interaction events (such as button clicks and form submissions) also sent to Google Analytics, so we can see how visitors interact with pages. Advertising

If we run advertising campaigns (for example, Google Ads), Google may use the same consent-gated tag to set advertising cookies used for conversion tracking and remarketing. These are also only set once you accept, and are governed by the same signals as our analytics cookies.
