Guest Terms of Service

These Guest Terms of Service (“Guest Terms”) apply to you if you have handed over your vehicle for valet service at a venue that uses ValeKit, and are using this web portal or have received an SMS message related to your vehicle (the “Guest Service”). They are separate from, and do not replace, ValeKit's Terms of Service for businesses, which is a different agreement between ValeKit and the venue.

By viewing this portal or replying to an SMS message, you acknowledge these Guest Terms. You are not required to create an account, download an app, or sign anything to use the Guest Service.

1. Who You're Dealing With

ValeKit is software used by the venue where you parked your vehicle (the “Venue”) to manage its valet operations. ValeKit is not the Venue, does not employ the valet staff who parked or will retrieve your vehicle, and does not provide valet parking services itself.

Your vehicle, your check-in, and your valet experience are handled entirely by the Venue and its staff. Any agreement, payment, or dispute relating to your vehicle or the valet service is between you and the Venue, not ValeKit.

2. What This Portal Does

This portal lets you see your vehicle's check-in status, view photos taken at check-in (where applicable), request your vehicle for retrieval, view amounts due, and pay or view a receipt where the Venue has enabled online payment. It is provided as a convenience and reflects information entered by the Venue's valet staff.

3. Your Vehicle Remains the Venue's Responsibility

ValeKit does not take custody of, insure, guard, or supervise your vehicle. ValeKit is not a vehicle tracking, security, surveillance, theft prevention, or vehicle protection service. The Venue is solely responsible for the safety, security, and handling of your vehicle while it is in valet custody. Any claim relating to vehicle damage, loss, theft, or personal injury should be directed to the Venue, not ValeKit.

4. Photos and Vehicle Information

Where the Venue's valet staff take photos of your vehicle or record details such as license plate, make, model, or color, this information may be processed using automated tools, including AI-based image recognition, to assist the Venue's staff. This information may contain errors and is provided for the Venue's operational use; it is not a substitute for your own observations about your vehicle's condition at check-in.

This information is shared with the Venue and is used to operate the Guest Service. It is handled in accordance with ValeKit's Privacy Policy.

5. SMS Communications

If you provide a mobile phone number to a valet attendant at check-in, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to your active valet session, including check-in confirmation, status updates, and retrieval notifications.

Messages sent under this program are transactional only; no marketing or promotional messages are sent. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. 6. Payments

Where the Venue has enabled online payment through this portal, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe or Square). ValeKit does not store your full payment card details. Refunds, disputes, or questions about charges should be directed to the Venue, as ValeKit does not set or collect valet pricing on its own behalf.

7. No Guarantee of Availability

This portal and SMS notifications depend on mobile networks, internet connectivity, and third-party service providers, and may occasionally be delayed or unavailable. If you are unable to access the portal or did not receive an expected SMS, contact the Venue's valet staff directly for the status of your vehicle.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ValeKit is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your vehicle, the valet service provided by the Venue, or your use of this portal, except to the extent caused solely by ValeKit's gross negligence or willful misconduct in operating the portal itself. ValeKit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Guest Service.

9. Changes to These Guest Terms

These Guest Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available at this link, and continued use of the Guest Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
